ABC
With an apprenticeship, you start with a job and build a career. Simply put, a contractor hires you, and then you enroll in the ABC of Wisconsin Apprenticeship Program. Over the next five years, you will learn everything you need – through in-class and on-the-job training – to strive in all aspects of your chosen trade. The best part: you get paid!
Electrical
Length of Apprenticeship - 5 Years Average
- Design, install, maintain and troubleshoot electrical components and wiring for a variety of systems, from overall power systems and lighting to systems that operate machinery.
- Utilize logical thinking and math skills to interpret prints and accurately calculate electrical systems.
- Operate a variety of tools and use the National Electrical Code to comply with safety requirements.
